Here you are at the very heart of the Milchbar. In two different rooms. On the ground floor and first floor culinary pleasures are waiting to warm your heart. You can enjoy our uncomplicated, sophisticated cuisine looking out onto the idyllic arcade and terrace. Our chef-de-cuisine is always conjuring up fresh-from-the-market delights for the lunch and dinner menus. Everything free of constraints and traditions. The Delicatessen boutique is as tempting as our menu. Selected cheeses, choice hams and other charcuterie specialities, marinated delicacies and finest preserves from far and wide – all waiting to be snapped up by appreciative connoisseurs.

The range of wines: Here, too, two souls dwell within one breast. The wine shelves double as a wine menu for the restaurant as well as the Delicatessen. And if you feel like more when you get home, you can order fresh supplies via our online wine shop from the comfort of your own chair.

A fondue feast outside is wonderful. Beautifully laid out under the arcades and wrapped up in warm blankets, enjoy a delicious fondue - a feast in the Milchbar!

Our gastronomic delights

Like curators in museums, we take extreme care in selecting the foods we relish. We spend innumerable hours looking for unique specialities to match our high expectations. We enjoy discovering fine things that we come to love so much we’d rather keep them for ourselves. This goes for the cheese, charcuterie, fine foods and gourmet and colonial goods at the Delicatessen counter, the Saftbar, the coffee in the Café Bar and, of course, the bakery and restaurant.

BREAKFAST À LA CARTE

A five-star hotel, even if it only has one room, always means that a luxurious breakfast awaits. You’ll find it at the Milchbar à la carte. Fresh croissants, brioches and other baked goods, the city’s best coffees, cappuccinos and teas, fruit and muesli. Healthy juices, made in-house, are also included. And for those looking to treat themselves to a glass of champagne before lunch to get the “day after” off to a bit better start, the Milchbar has you covered.

When the weather is fine, enjoy your breakfast in the beautiful inner courtyard with a view of the fountain or, if it rains, under the unique archways, which make it feel almost as if you’ve been transported to the Marais district in Paris.

Coffee mélange.

Global coffee culture is celebrated on a mini-scale in the Café Bar. The atmosphere is rich with the interplay of aromas from the siphon coffee so popular in Japan, Turkish coffee or punch-packing espressi from Araku in India, Panama, Costa Rica, et cetera. Every day all our baristas concoct taste explosions with bewitching effects.

For those who like picking out the cherries . . . and other things.

People who like to pick and choose, who are not content with first thing that crosses their path, are sure to find their heart’s desire in the Milchbar’s Delicatessen boutique. Finest cheeses, mouth-watering charcuterie, carefully scouted gourmet and colonial goods, precious oils and tantalising aceti have the connoisseur’s heart leaping for joy. And what is more, all these Lucullan delicacies are wrapped with great gusto. So they make the perfect gift.

Our wine curator assembles veritable crafted wines from all over the globe. These are displayed on our large wine wall. You can take them directly off the wall to enjoy at a table in the restaurant. You can also whisk them away as a present or take them home with you. Or you can admire the wall on our online shop and let the noble drop flow wherever you want it to.
